Hello people! The chalet cum class outing is out! That's like finally. Shall update all of you more.

Date: 14 & 15 Dec (Mon and Tues)
*We will be having a 1 night chalet then the next day is a class outing.
Venue: Costa Sands Pasir Ris and East Coast Park
Fee: $14 per person
*Please pay by 8 dec (tues) or else it will be too late. You can find us at tiong from 12pm to 1.30pm.

For the 1 night chalet, we will have a BBQ. And at ecp, you can do whatever you like, cycle, roller-blate etc.
Please try to go as this will be the last one. Do reply to that message yunjie sent too as we need to know how many people are going. Thank you for your co-operation!:) Will update you all more.

Im sure most of you have received the message from jinghui informing you that there will be a 2F class chalet:)
Date: 14 to 16 Dec 2009 (Mon to Wed)
We have not book the chalet yet because we need to see the response 1st. If there's a low response, then we will m0st probably change the date to the week during the New Zealand's trip.
It will most likely be Coasta Sands Pasir Ris again. Do remember to inform jinghui whether you can make it during these days by 25 Oct, sunday(which is today). And spread this around your friends in 2F last year. Thanks:D

Hi! As you guys know, the class outing is on 22nd June, 10 am. Be PUNCTUAL.

Venue is at HarbourFront MRT Control Station, make a mistake earlier on, Vivo don't have MRT.

And since it is a CLASS outing, please try to wear the 2F'08 CLASS TEE, cos you won't really have the chance to wear it anyways, if not you just buy for nothing.

But it is still up to you guys what you wanna wear, but just don't waste it.

Hello, people!:D
2F class outing had been confirmed. There will not be anymore changes (unless necessary)!

Date: 22 June 2009 (Monday)
Venue: Sentosa
Meeting place: Vivo MRT control station
Time: 10 am to late evening
Attire: It's up to you!
Things to bring: Sufficient cash (entry fee is $3-we are taking the tram in), an extra shirt in case you get wet or something and etc.
Food wise: You have to settle your own breakfast/lunch/dinner

In the event that it rains, we will still meet at Vivo 1st, then decide where to go.
Please inform Juaniter whether you are going anot (Go or not going also must inform).
Anyway, it is more of a free-and-easy outing, so you can do whatever you want, bring whatever you want to bring. However, we are not going into the sea as it is kind of dangerous, but if you really wish to, then go ahead. Just be careful!
And and, Zhihui will most likely join us too. (Mdm Tang, not too sure yet)
If you have any questions(logical), feel free to ask.

Hello, people! I'm here to inform you all that the chalet had benn so called "postpone" to the nov/dec holidays instead of the june holidays.
Firstly, i realised many are very busy during june holi and quite a number of them cannot make it on the date we decided on.
Secondly, 14 june is fully booked at all coasta sands chalets except for pasir ris, and i dun think you all want back the same chalet.
Thirdly, if the chalet is in nov/dec, we might be able to book aloha loyang, which most of you wanted (although it is more expensive).
Fourthly, we can have more time to plan and prepare for the chalet to make it a enjoyable and memorable one:)
Yup, so please do not complain ok?
As for the class outing right, its up to you all to decide. I need suggestions! And and, do you all want it on the 14/21 june? Tag at the tagboard, thanks!

Hi all!

We have changed the plan AGAIN. We are going to have the chalet at the end of the year holidays, probably in december or earlier. But we can't confirm the dates cos it is like so far away.

Anyways, do you guys wanna have a class outing during the June holidays? Probably during the second week of June holidays. And we were planning to go Sentosa or maybe just East Coast, to EXERCISE, i THINK, i am not very sure though. If go Sentosa right, got more activities. But everybody is suppose to pay for their own fees.

Please suggest some good suggestions of where to go if you're interested and tag at the tagboard. Or you can tell Sinvyest directly, sms or msn also can. :)

The chalet had been partially confirmed to be on the 14 June (Sunday) to 16 June (Tuesday)

Venue : Costa Sands Pasir Ris as Costa Sands Sentosa is fully booked on that day, and Aloha Loyang is closed.

People, as you all know Aloha Loyang is so called the "quarantine area"for the swine flu now. So we was thinking of having the chalet at Coasta Sand Sentosa. But, at the moment, there's seriously no one to book the chalet. Or else, we'll just have a class outing or something as we're not sure whether your parents will allow u to go for the chalet. Okay, lets talk business now. A few weeks ago, ashraf and delvin have suggested on having a class chalet but they do not wish to organise it.
So i'm here to ask for everyone's comment.
Jinghui, Yunjie and me have come up with a plan(its only a rough one) on the chalet.

[THE FAB'S REUNION]

Here are the details for the chalet:

VENUE
1. Aloha Loyang(near coasta sands pasir ris)
-We are staying in a so called "Garden Terrace-single-storey". (cool rite? the price is even more cool!)
-Its $250 per day.

DATE:
1. 9 june to 11 june (tue to thu)
2. 16 june to 18 june (tue to thu)
-As tues, fri and sat are cca days and i think some of you are going overseas, we are planning to have it on the 1st or 2nd week of the june holidays.
-However, those with cca on tues. Please come after your cca. Try not to pontend!
-Between these 2 choices, please kindly choose 1 and tag it in the class's tag board or inform me, jing, yj.

COST:
1. It's $30/person.
-I know some of you must asking why is it so expensive. Firstly, to accomodate around 35 to 40 ppl, we need a terrace.(in fact some still have to sleep on the floor) This is because the bungalows will cost a bomb! Seriously. So we have no choice but to book a terrace. Secondly, without a BBQ for chalet is kind of like meaningless. And and, we need to buy the food for bbq too. So, ya, this is it. People, try not to complain ok?

WHAT AND WHERE TO EAT DURING THE CHALET?
1st day
-Breakfast: Eat at home.
-Lunch: Go to the nearby shopping mall(which is downtown east) to eat.
[Please pay yourself]
-Dinner: Pizza at the chalet for everyone.( Its canadian pizza)
[You do not have to pay for this. BUT, please control your diet, especially the boys. DO NOT EAT TOO MUCH!]

2nd day
-Breakfast: Bread + Spread (Nutella and Skippy's peanut butter)
-Lunch: Order MacDonald's delivery if you want(optional)

[Please pay yourself. Its optional because we will be starting bbq at around 4pm or 5pm(as in start the fire) so you can choose not to eat if you can tahan.]

-Dinner: BBQ!!!

3rd day

-'Farewell" lunch.

[This is to have another chance to eat as a CLASS, maybe it is the last. Who knows. But this will all depends on what time we are suppose to check-out. And and, you have to pay yourself ok.]

ACTIVITIES:

1. Double-wacko

2. "Tong-ka"(the one we played during the sec 1 ace camp. Remember?)

3. Captain's ball (lols. This game will depend on how much space we have outside our chalet.)

4. Truth or Dare

5. Mid-night movie @ downtown east. (regarding on what movie we are watching, we will see wat kind of movies there are during that period of time and also, popularity. Try to watch together.)

6. Cycling/ Roller blading(optional)

7. Dedication's time.(not confirm yet- its like ending the 3D2N with some touching words. Don't cry. haha)

-Currently, that's all the 3 of us can think of for the activities. If any of you have better ideas, please feel free to approach us.

TRANSPORTATION:

-As for this year, it should be a better chalet so so, you people have to walk further. haha(: You do not worry that much actually, as there is a shuttle-bus service from Pasir Ris MRT to Aloha Loyang. But this will only function from 0800 to 2200 hours.(15 mins intervals)

Lastly, i hope all you(2f'08) will go for this chalet. Also, please feel free to comment on any of the informations updated and give us your response. Any of your parents is a civil servant and is willing to help us book the chalet? I really need someone to book it. And and, sponsors are welcomed!

hello. there dearest 2F peeps! :D i wonder if anyone still somes here, but well i shall try to update as much as i can for those who still come to this blog expecting to see something new! so well hope all of you are doing well in your new classes. :D and chinese new year is coming in 3 days i think. hong bao hong bao. yes! money money $_$ todays performance was great and here i would like to encourage these people to continue their best in anything they do. Hey there! i hope u had fun during the class chalet because i certainly did! i miss it already. well i would like to take this chance to thank some people due to chalet.

First, i would like to thank the sponsorers. i think everyone should thank the sponsorers, as without them we would have to pay more then $10. :(

Secondly, i would like to thank Ashraf, Shaun and weitian and their group for helping out in any way u all could like the BBQ. :D THANK YOU!

Next i would like to thank everybody for coming. because if you all never turn up it wont be much fun either. :D

Lastly i would like to thank sinvyest, jing hui and "maybe" yunjie. as i think that you all have done the most things and contributed the most.

IMPORTANT:

If any of you have those BLACK GARBAGE BAG or RECYCLING BAG, please kindly bring it as we might need it to throw our rubbish for the chalet. Thanks.

Also, if any of your parents are fetching you there, feel free to ask them to drop you straight at the chalet. Or, they can drop you at the bus stop instead.

Feel free to bring any games or cards to the chalet.

Those who like to sponsor some chips/drinks, please feel free to do so. You will be most appreciated.

You are advice to bring along a pair of socks not only for inline skating, but also for bowling. *Note: You can bring ankle socks/coloured socks/others. It dont have to be GESS ya:)

(OPTIONAL) A pair of slippers/sandals is actually enough. BUT you can choose wherever anot to bring a pair of shoes along as it might be of use for cycling/bowling. Its up to you anyways.

Last but not least, PLEASE BE PUNCTUAL ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY! NO EXCUSES!

Hello! I am here to update about the class chalet.

DETAILS:

Date: 29th October 2008 (Wednesday) to 31st October 2008 (Friday) [3 days 2 nights]

Venue: Costa Sands Resort (Pasir Ris)

BBQ night: 29th October 2008 (Wednesday)

Meeting Date: 29th October 2008 (Wednesday)

Meeting Time: 4pm

Meeting Venue: Bus Stop after Downtown East. Sinvyest and group will fetch you at the bus stop. Latecomers will not be entertained and the latest is 4.15pm.

Chalet:

We have booked two premier rooms (single storey). And also we have booked 2 BBQ pits. Most likely, the 2 rooms have to be shared between boys and girls as there are many boys but limited space.

Food:

Only dinner will be provided. Breakfast and lunch have to buy yourself.

Here are the food that we are buying for the BBQ [ 1st night] :

- Chicken Wing

- Chicken Fillet

- Chicken Sausage

- Chicken Satay

- Crabstick

- Otah

- Fish Fillet

- Watermelon

- Fruit Punch

- BeeHoon ( Not Confirmed )

2nd night [30th october] :

Canadian Pizza

Others:

- If you have not paid for the 10 dollars chalet fund to Sinvyest and you have told us that you want to come, please do pay on 29th October 2008 on the day itself. People who do not pay are not entertained.

- Bring at least 10 dollars for your food or entertainment. This chalet is more of free and easy.

* I would advise you to bring around 25 or more dollars if you are staying for 3 days 2 nights as breakfast and lunch would not be provided.

- On the second day we are planning to go cycling or in-line skating. And by the way, there is also Orchid Bowl at E! Hub which is beside downtown east.

- On the last day we are planning to watch a movie after we check out. Movie will be decided on the day itself. If you want to join, bring more money. :D

- For those who are only coming for the BBQ you have to pay 3 dollars. Thanks and please reach by 6 or 7 pm.

** Those who broke/damage something will have to pay for it. We will not pay for you. Please pass the money to Sinvyest and we will pay to Costa Sands.

Suggestion:

It would be advisable for you to bring at least 3 sets of clothing and sufficient undergarments if you are staying over for 3 days 2 nights. Bring along a towel to bathe and a dark coloured shirt for girls and boys as we have some wet activities for you to take part in. For girls who have special reasons are allowed to be excused from the wet activities, as we want this chalet to be more of a class bonding, so it would be best if everyone is able to take part in the activities. We thank you for your cooperation.

Any other items like water bottle, torch, pyjamas, soft toys are up to you. If you want to bring extra clothing you are gladly welcomed to. We won't hold responsible for the loss of any items/belongings.

Feel free to bring snacks or drinks to the chalet.

*Suggestion - Bring insecticide as there are many creepy-crawlies there.

How to get to the Meeting Place?

First alight at Pasir Ris Mrt station. Exit to the direction of white sands shopping centre.

Then, turn left and go towards the 7-eleven row till you reach the interchange.

When you reach the interchange, go to B5.

And take bus 354 to Pasir Ris Downtown East. This is the only bus that you can take. The number of stops is around 2 or 3 stops to reach the destination.

Alight when you see this bus stop.

the bus stop again.

the bus stop is called Pasir Ris Close.

At the signboard, you should be able to see this. two stops from the destination back to the interchange.

The scenery looks something like this.

And it is opposite this building.

*If you still are not sure where to alight, you can try and look out for people who are early, Sinvyest and her group, and just another fact the bus stop is the one immediately after the downtown east bus stop.

For those who are taking HomeEcons this semester,please remember to bring your apron, textbook, workbook, a container and cap (optional) on monday. And remember that we are cooking chicken curry. Remember to do your mindmap too. :)

And for those who are taking D&T, please remember to do the worksheet Mr Kuan gave, must find out what storage thingy and draw it out in 3-D form if i am not wrong.

There will also be a maths test next tuesday (15/7) on Chapter 6.3, 6.4 and 7 and it falls on Faldo's birthday.

3 months since we updated this class blog, so this is a quick update for you guys.

Geography File - Tuesday (if not 1 tick on the class list)

And recently,the basketball team is having some tournament,matches,etc.

So give them your support cos i heard that they won ACS Independent and now moving on to next round which is Bishan Park(?).

And Literature Macbeth Plot Summary is uploaded at GessPortal by Mrs Tee. So please go download it,read through and have a better understanding of Macbeth.
